Having covered all three major platforms individually, this lesson pulls the comparison together directly — and the most important thing to internalise first is that the three platforms share far more than they differ on, at the level of fundamental PV domain requirements. Case-based data capture organised by information category, structured workflow routing, and E2B(R3) transmission capability are present, in some form, across all three, because those requirements come from the underlying regulatory and clinical needs of pharmacovigilance itself, not from any single vendor’s design choices.
Where they genuinely differ is deployment model and its downstream consequences. Argus and ARISg both carry long, established enterprise deployment histories, typically on-premise or hosted, with correspondingly more involved validation and update cycles when changes are needed.
