This describes what The Drug Safety Coach (thedrugsafetycoach.com) collects, why, and who it's shared with. If you have questions this page doesn't answer, reach out through the contact details on the About page.
Creating an account (Join Free / Sign In) collects your email address and, optionally, your name. Authentication is handled by Supabase — we don't store passwords ourselves; Supabase does, encrypted, on our behalf. You can request account deletion at any time.
Which lessons you've completed, quiz results, and similar progress data are stored in your browser's local storage — on your device, not a remote server, unless you're signed in, in which case progress syncs to your account so it's available across devices. Clearing your browser's site data will reset progress stored locally.
The site uses cookies and local storage for: keeping you signed in, remembering preferences (like language selection), and — if enabled — advertising and analytics provided by third parties (see below). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect features like staying signed in.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners. These partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites, in order to provide personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
We don't sell your personal information to third parties. We don't share your email address with advertisers. Case-processing exercises and calculators in the PV Toolkit run entirely in your browser — nothing you type into the Naranjo, WHO-UMC, or PRR/ROR calculators is transmitted anywhere.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time. You can use the site's free content without creating an account — an account is only required for progress sync, the certificate, and a few interactive tools.
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date at the top will change, and significant changes will be noted here.
